Root Garden
Bottom of the hill, next to the woodshed. Soil deep but sandy.
Pyracanthus garden
Raised bed against the house, about half taken up by an enormous pyracanthus bush.
Mountain-facing vinyard
Plot on the back hill, faces the mountain. Good sun, but stony, and doesn't hold water well.
Lusitanica garden
Against deck stairs, where the Prunus Lusitanica used to be, before we chopped it up and tried to grow tastier things there.

A second, lower terrace on the stone hill, dug out along the driveway.
