Amateur back garden veg grower. My usual crops are: French or runner beans; potatoes; onions; garlic; courgettes. I've had some success in the past with sweetcorn, leeks, parsnips, carrots, and broad beans. I've had less success lately with tomatoes (blight), peppers and aubergines. I can be lured into trying interesting variations in the veg I regularly grow, such as pink fir apple potatoes, ball-shaped courgettes, and borlotti beans.
