Onion Allium cepa

These are just ordinary yellow onions, planted from sets. They went in a little late this year, but the ground was very wet from Christmas onwards, and I didn't want them to rot in the ground. They're already starting to appear, so I think that was a good decision. They're in one of the long, narrow plots at the top of the garden, which is sheltered but gets the sun for a good bit of the day. They've done well there before.
