Hi all, since we brought our place in '07, we have been busy transforming it from lawn to garden. I've got a fair bit to fill in as the front lawn has been transformed into a wildflower garden, the front verge is slowly becoming a food forest, an orchard is getting slipped into the chicken run and I'm also studying for my level 4 in applied organics (which is roughly equivalent to the first year of a diploma), so putting in a cash crop of "Abe Lincoln" heirloom tomatoes (combined with basil and a couple of other herbs) as part of the course.
