Yellow Cropper Tomato
Solanum lycopersicum
A variety of tomato
An indeterminate tomato with long trusses of medium-sized, very round yellow fruit that turns orange if grown in the heat or a glasshouse and left to ripen fully. Average flavour but super disease resistant. From Henry Harrington in Southland. Needs staking. Sow in trays in late September, prick out at 3 cm, pot on at 10 cm and plant out at 10 to 15 cm high at 50 cm spacing, two rows per 1 m bed.
