PermalinkI've started seeds for several kinds of pepper and one kind of tomatillo. Also, horehound and catmint in pots.
My alpine strawberry seeds have finally germinated, and I have tiny wee seedling popping up in peat pots!

The strawberry sounds adorable. I don't think I've ever known anyone to start strawberries from seed. Was it easy?
It was easy in the sense of 'if you wait long enough and drip water on the peat pots every day, you might get seedlings'. It takes between 14 and 28 days for strawberry seeds to germinate, which is a bit of a wait. Also, the seedlings start out really tiny and are pretty delicate, so I don't know if they'll all survive to be productive plants yet.
