PermalinkSlowly, slowly the sun line is moving down the fence. It shouldn't be too long before my garden gets some direct sunshine and springs into life.
I picked up some seedlings from the Slow Food Market at Abbotsford Convent today: dwarf kale, bok choy, chervil and Tom Thumb lettuce, and planted them out this afternoon. Good luck little seedlings!
The sugar snap peas are carrying on. At least they're lasting longer than their predecessor seedlings.

The sun watch is kind of infuriating, isn't it? HURRY UP! It's come low enough that I can eat lunch in the sun at the picnic table in the backyard, but it doesn't come right down to ground level yet. I'm keeping a close watch on the front yard too, and as soon as the sun clears the front garden bed, some squashes will be going in there (I think probably around October).
It amazes me that anything except moss grows there this time of year.
