PermalinkHi all,
Daniel here. I’m a backyard gardener based in Melbourne, Australia. I started growing veggies in 2016 and since then became passionate about permaculture and all things sustainability. I've been working on a marketplace for local seed savers in Australia called Local Seeds. It allows people to buy and sell untreated, non-GMO, heirloom, open pollinated, organic seeds online from local growers.
My mission is to encourage more people to save seeds, to help preserve genetic diversity, and to give people access to seeds that are adapted to their local environment.
Would love to receive feedback on Local Seeds.
Cheers, Dan

Dear, I have also a blog where I used to write different topics related to gardenings. I have many articles on the seed and the steps to look after them. https://gardensnursery.com/essential-gardening-tools/
I think it's a great idea - I've been sourcing my seeds from a group here in the Midwestern USA for the last couple years - Seed Savers Exchange, seedsavers.org - as well as from a more formalized commercial regional supplier here in Wisconsin who sources heirloom crops from local farmers and gardeners. I plan to join the exchange myself to share seeds once I'm a little more established in my space here.
