I found these sprouting in our cupboard, so I thought I'd try out planting them. I cut away the rest of the onion from the sprouts first, following advice here: http://www.anktangle.com/2011/03/growing-sprouted-onions.html
I planted them dispersed around other plants, to try to keep pests away.
