Bush Bean, Early Contender After seedlings grow 4-6 inches tall, thin to 6 inches apart.
Don't cultivate or harvest when plants are wet as disease can spread this way.
Harvest regularly to encourage continued production Produces 6-8 inch pods. Favorite for processing. Days to maturity: 49

Picked on July 8. Lots of beans the first picking. Enough for 3 farm meals for sure. Long, green. NICE. I planted one row, about 8 feet long. No plans to freeze, just eat fresh.
