Wild Rocket

Diplotaxis erucoides

A traditional European wild form of rocket with narrow, wavy leaves picked a leaf at a time over a whole year. Sweet, tasty and a little peppery, and not too hot if well grown. Self seeds freely and is easy to grow. Sow in spring in trays, prick out at 2.5 cm and transplant at 30 cm diagonal spacing, protecting from slugs and snails when very young.
