A small (about 1 kg), early, acorn-shaped squash, said to have come from the Arikara of North Dakota; an old packet was sent in by a member in the 1990s. The flesh is sweet and nutty, like delicata. It is best eaten dark green, within two to three months of harvest, before it turns golden. A heavy cropper in good conditions. Transplant at 1 m.
