Aloe Vera has been planted 9 times by Growstuff members.

Aloe Vera is an evergreen succulent with thick, fleshy leaves with serrated edges. It can be grown outdoors in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 9-11 or indoors anywhere. Like all succulents, Aloe Vera does best with bright light and in arid conditions. Aloe is often grown for ornamental and medicinal uses: the juice from it's leaves is frequently applied to sunburns and other wounds.
