Notes
Attempting to start alpine strawberries from seed. Used Mignonette cultivar from Renee's Garden supplier and organic jiffy-pods. Currently on window sill for warmth. Expect seedling in 2 to 4 weeks. ETA 14 April 2013 – seedling coming up, very small and fragile. Transplanted to plastic pots with more dirt 25-May-2013. 27 July 2013 – one plant surviving and thriving as an outside plant in my container garden – as large as my fist, which is pretty good for a strawberry plant that was seed 4 months ago.
