1 day agoDescription(blank) -> A perennial bee balm (Monarda fistulosa) about 60 cm tall, with square, grooved stems, pale green leaves tinged with red, and large heads of pink and purple flowers. The whole plant is strongly fragrant, reminiscent of bergamot orange. Sow into trays in spring, prick out at 2.5 cm diagonal spacing at the first two leaves, and transplant at 30 cm diagonal spacing when the ground reaches 15 degrees C.
