3 days agoDescription(blank) -> A sorghum from the Tarahumara people of Batopilas Canyon in northern Mexico, with sugar-cane-like stems for eating or juicing. The large white seeds are easy to thresh and clean and pop like popcorn. Plants top 2 m and need hot summers, since sorghum evolved in Africa. Transplant from trays at 5 to 10 cm high, 40 cm apart on the diagonal, once soil is 15 °C. -
